23.9.2021:	The deadline for submissions for the next IJsewijn Prize as well as the publication period for entries for the IJsewijn Prize had been extended to 15 December 2021. The procedure will remain the same as described in the Second Circular.
	The membership fee paid for the triennium 2018-2021 will exceptionally cover the quadriennium 2018-2022.
	The current mandates of the officers of the IANLS will be extended by one year.

5.8.2018:	The 18th congress of the IANLS will be held in Leuven, Belgium, 1.-6. August 2021.
3.8.2018:	The winner of the third "Jozef IJsewijn Prize for best first book on a Neo-Latin topic" (triennium 2015-2018) is Thomas Hendrickson, Ancient Libraries and Renaissance Humanism. The De bibliothecis of Justus Lipsius (Leiden-Boston: Brill, 2017).
3.12.2018:	It is with deep sadness that the Executive Committee of the International Association for Neo-Latin Studies has learned of the death of Chris Heesakkers on 28 November 2018. On this sombre occasion, we recall his long and dedicated service to IANLS as Treasurer of our association (1991-2003). Chris will be remembered as an inspiring scholar and a generous and warm-hearted personality.

3.8.2015:	The winner of the second "Jozef IJsewijn Prize for best first book on a Neo-Latin topic" (triennium 2012-2015) is Valéry Berlincourt, Commenter la Thébaïde (16e-19e s.). Caspar von Barth et la tradition exégétique de Stace, Mnemosyne Supplements 354 (Leiden-Boston: Brill, 2013).
22.12.2015:	Prof. Walther Ludwig will receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Vienna in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the establishment of the discipline of Neo-Latin. The ceremony will take place on Friday, 8 January 2016, 11.00, in the Senatssaal of the University of Vienna (see invitation here).
26.3.2015:	The Acta of M�nster 2012 have appeared.
9.8.2012:	Walther Ludwig is made honorary lifetime member of IANLS in recognition of his contributions to the study of Neo-Latin and his merits for the IANLS.
6.8.2012:	The winner of the first "Jozef IJsewijn Prize for best first book on a Neo-Latin topic" (triennium 2009-2011) is Aline Smeesters-Lelubre, Aux rives de la lumière: La poésie de la naissance chez les auteurs néo-latins des anciens Pays-Bas entre la fin du XVe siècle et le milieu du XVIIe siècle (Leuven UP 2011).
